Just woke up to this latest news that several 'british' muslims have been nicked by the plod for trying to blow up more planes
Im not a raciest on any level and have no issues integrating with other cultures, however, when you get twisted individuals who have the cheek the come to this country (or any other) with intent of causing havoc or problems it really pisses me off. Muslims and followers of Islam complain that their type are sterocast but these groups are the only people who commit or attempt to commit terrorism. It just pisses me off. Finally, thanks to the latest scumbags (and i will bet my R6 to anyone that they will not have british origin names) every poor sod travelling on a plane today is gonna have hell passing through checkin and being banned from carrying hand luggage.
Sorry Folks > rant over (sipps tea)

I don't disagree one bit. This will cause more hatred and resentment. Should it? Not really. How many people have been killed by the IRA over the years? Does that mean we should hate and resent catholics? How about the UDA, the UFF the red hand commandos? Well, that all protestants out. Muslims as you've said are all terrorists. Is there any religion you can be without being a terrorist?

I think we have to congratulate the police/MI5 when these things happen. It sounds like they have won in this instance.
The media will always look for the negative though. I expect to hear the tragic news of delayed holidays and 6 hour delays being pushed through in the absence of facts about the case. ____________________ GSXR600 |

Wow, the government and scurity forces are so good at stopping these 'terrorist threats' just in time...
I'm starting to get cynical. Arrests can be made on anyone...
I'm definately starting to get cynical. ____________________ Colin McRae MBE 1968 - 2007 RIP

Think I'll wait to see whether they actually prosecute anyone they've arrested before congratulating anyone on a job well done. ____________________ Photos and that |

I'm certainly very sceptical about it all, especially coming so soon after Reid's "We must cut off our noses to spite our faces when it comes to terrorism, and that we need to remove some of our freedoms to rid terrorism". Let's see if anyone gets prosecuted - more likely that some poor sucker gets shot in the back next week. Anyway, here's something I found on another "forum":
The news has certainly been full of it this morning, with descriptions of all the security measures passengers must adhere to. Most people interviewed sounded reassured by the precautions rather than frustrated.
Mrs Green of Essex said that six security guards were called to taste her baby's milk before allowing her to board the plane. She thought that was a very sensible security measure given the suspected threat, and stated that she thought they would have been even more cautious if her baby had been bottle-fed.
Mr. Afu was very pragmatic, despite having had his travel plans totally ruined by the alert. "I had been planning to meet up with 42 virgins," he said sadly, "But I expect I'll get another opportunity soon - I have an open ticket." ____________________ Current bike: Kawasaki Z750S |

Its called politics of fearism,
how convient for such a threat to appear when Reid yesterday wanted to crush liberties 100% and force NL to become the ONLY party in the UK.
You can tell by looking at mass media,
100 years ago it was where will we go to the stars! , our lives will be so much better! ,
50 years ago , it was where will we go to the stars! , out lives will be so much better,
politicos failed to deliver, and to control 90% of the population use fear,
just look at the priorities of people , there was a big demo about BB the TV show being a scam , when the government crushes liberties people don't even whimper.
Also as a small counter point to I hate this and that sect cus they get their way , maybe its because they actually do something about it , that Play which annoyed Sikh folks , they got off their rear ends and did something about it, while the natives tend to just moan , and secretly plot to emigrate. ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die. "Once again, British people are being inconvenienced by the activities of home grown Muslim terrorists |
I never knew that John Reid was a Muslim (I'm not so shocked by the terrorist part). They know there's a threat that they've been monitoring for months and has ended up with multiple arrests overnight - yet after the threat seems to have been foiled, they adopt immediate draconian security measures that disrupt every airport across the UK. These tactics seem more a ploy to keep the public in fear rather than a genuine attempt to stop an attrocity.
Harold_Shand wrote: | The British National Party Executive's solution to this problem is to ban immediately, ALL MUSLIMS from flying out of (and in to) Britain until the security situation has been fully resolved.
During recent international football competitions, a similar ban on English football hooligans was carried out, when many football fans had their passports confiscated and travel restricted.
If white working class men can be treated in this fashion it must be possible to apply a similar ban to Muslims. |
How you tell whether someone is a Muslim (terrorists would probably be ever so cunning and lie if asked)?
Banning Muslims would be akin to banning football fans. A similiar approach to banning football hooligans would be to ban muslim terrorists, which I doubt anyone would have a problem with.
Currently, Tony B Liar and his party are doing nothing but help the BNP. Though to be fair, if there were only two parites in UK politics, New Labour and BNP, I would currently vote for anyone that would keep New Labour out. I'm ashamed to say that I voted Labour in the 1997. ____________________ Current bike: Kawasaki Z750S |

I've just heard that Liverpool Street Station has been evacuated because of a suspect package (or suitcase) found.
Nothing on the news about this yet tho. ____________________ ZXR750R (M2) - For the road.

I see the point you're making, unfortunately, as some middle east muslim (politician I think) said a couple of years ago, " Not all Muslims are terrorists, but most terrorists are Muslims".
Never a truer word said. |

Religion seems to be the cause of all major problems. Fighting, wars, terror etc...
So many weak minded people out there its unbelievable. Why can't people make their own decisions rather than be led along by a 'story' that was written a few thousand years ago!
Religion is going to eventually kill off everyone. So sad! ____________________ ZXR750R (M2) - For the road.
