My new bike and compared to everthing else i've ridden it feels like a monster. On the test ride i was worried i wouldn't make it to the end of the street without falling off. Those who have ridden them will know that the riding position is pretty extreme, especially coming from a gpz500. Those with limp wrists need not apply
I loved the look of the green and purple ZX7R's but because i would have to bounce it up a kerb and a step while squeezing though a gateway with an inch to spare on either side to get it into my garden (house in pic is sellers not mine) i didn't want to get an absolutely mint one at 3K as i would certainly scrape it a few times. So i set my spending at £1500 which would get me a tatty ZX7R or a nice ZXR750.
When i saw this ZXR750 painted in the later ZX7R colours for a bit over a grand it was the best of both worlds. Plus i have a bit spare for a good lock and chain (just ordered £250 worth from almax).
I love it, plenty of power, great brakes, excellent handling and a real head turner.

Yes very nice, had one, now got a ZX7R.
The bottom fairing needs some stickers or something, it just looks boring! But good bike non-the-less! ____________________ 04 zx10r with mods - 187.4bhp at the wheel! :o |

Nice looking bike mate i got 2 of them. quality old school sportsbikes but a steering damper!!! pull the other one! zxr's have one of the most stable and planted front ends of there day, if you think you need a damper on there youve either got a knackard front tyre or hideously set up suspension. or possibly landing the wheelies a wee bit harshly ____________________ nonstop unicorns vomiting sunshine pills into a rainbow toilet

yup could just have been the front tyre, the front and rear were mismatched when i bought it and tank slappers felt very inevitable but it seems to have sorted itself out pretty much as i've got new tyres on it!
would still like one though for added confidence |
