Is it the right insert for your visor? They do different ones for different make and model helmets.
What I find makes it easier to fit is removing the visor and bending the visor as flat as it will go (Arai visors will do this) holding one end with my knee on the floor while I put the insert in. Then when it is in place I let the visor bend back to how it usually is and it seems to seal it in place.
I hope this helps.
Pinlock is great! ____________________ NC30 + Bandit 6

I also have a black pin lock ready shoei visor. I recently received the insert & installed it without a problem.
I took the visor off, knelt on one end to flatten it & inserted the insert without having to twiddle the pins..
It fitted flush with the inside of the visor & has been fine...... up until now.
It seems that it no longer sites flush with the visor & when riding in the rain this morning it misted up!!
I've called the people who i ordered it from & they've asked me to send them the visor & the insert so that they can check this out. Bit of a pain in the arse eh??
Does anyone know if this is a common problem? Up until now it's been fine so am a little disappointed I've got to send it back |
