There's a confessions thread you should go and use!

Then at least that way you'll be OK with the Lord!

Tell her you love her the way she is and doesn't need to diet.

Then you can go somewhere that serves real food not this healthy shite.

Just apologise.

Admit that you realised that you've been an arse and that you know there was no need to behave like that.

Then say something to make her laugh before she has time to answer.

Works a treat for me! Thumbs Up

No don't go shopping you'll just end up argueing.

Take her for a drink and make her laugh, then you get to benefit too! Wink

One tip I have: Do not buy anything permanent. It will serve as a constant reminder of your wrong-doings.

When I last let down my girlfriend badly and felt incredibly guilty.....(I got home drunk, broke a kitchen unit door whilst 'cage fighting' with a friend and then vomited in bed after leaving a slice of marmalade toast face down on the carpet)......I bought my girlfriend a nice plant for the lounge! I don't know what possesed me, I was at a garden centre with my mate...still half cut.
She loved the plant but it stands in the corner of our lounge serving as a constant reminder of that awfull night. It's even now called the 'sorry plant' and it's pointed out at least once a week. Sad

Take a day off work, pull a sicky if necessary and take her out. Smile

Think of somewhere nice, the zoo or something else that she likes, and go there. You'd have a whole day to spend together then, missing a days work wont be the end of the world, will it.

You do. what would she like? I also agree with the whole don't buy her a "thing" bit too. Take her out somewhere fun.

I am old and therefore have many experience with this sort of thing. Evidently, learned the hard way due to experience.

Either:

Arrow Nice meal, not a kebab shop of anything thing that, I mean restraunt.

or

Arrow After telling her to feck the diet and you lover her as she is, stay in for the night, get her some ice-cream, lots of chocs and a good DVD

Either way, wait until the morning then tell her before you or her are off to work then she will be thinking about it all day and it will rise her expectations in order for you to 'kill her softly'.

GO ON SON!
