I was at Halfords today (getting a torx screwdriver) trying to solve my problem (see other thread) and I noticed they've got their offers on socket sets back on. Tool chests are also on offer.

Not all the offers are shown online. In particular, as well as the 1/3 off the excellent 150 piece Halfords Professional socket set (that I got last Christmas) there was a similar discount on one of the smaller socket sets and there was a combined socket set / toolbox for £49 (non-halfords branded). They've also got 1/3 off their pressure washers and power tools.

Just thought I'd share the information.

Unfortunately I needed a screwdriver - the screw is 2 inches down a hole that is only just wide enough to fit a screwdriver shaft down - the bit, on a slightly attachment (or a socket) won't fit.

Get your torque wrenches from machinemart, much cheaper than halfords, same quality and there will be a store near you!

No way affiliated with them but have had some cracking deals off them over the years.
