hi all. first time here and i thought some one can be of help. i have this kind of rare(?) problem with my Yamaha Neo's scooter.
it sounds very simple: the motor always go out when i stand stil and doesn't react properly when i drive. i always have to play with the chock or pump up the gas handel...
what i tried already:
- I tuned the scooter stationery,
- i cleaned the carburator and other benzin tubes
- air filter is clean.

this all seem to be a very basic problem, never the less, the problem doesn't go away!

any ideas, help, suggestions? i'm puzzled!

thnx

You should look at the condition of the spark plug.

yep i would check the plug for a good spark, and make sure you don't have an air leak between the carb and the engine, (spray wd40 at the carb boot while running, if the revs change, then you have a air leak)
good luck.
where about are you based?? germany??

Is it possible your fuel tank has water in it? Maybe scooter was stood for a long time outside and fuel lid is faulty?

Try to drain carburettor float bowl, see if engine is better.
