Ive want to remove my 33bhp on my rvf 400, looked on the certicate and it says its a Blade Restrictor, Any one help please
Sorry about all the stupid questions but my rvf is the love of life and i dont want to fuck it up and i dont wanna pay £35ph work on getting it removed

hi mate, take your tank off, then your air box, then your carbs and the blades r in the tubes that connect to the engine from your carbs. they r like washers. just pull them out. theres one in each tube so theres 4.

So how hard are the carbs to take off then becuase i have heard they are right bi*ches

well it shouldnt be that hard. your bike is a v4 i think
but at the end of the carb just undo the clip with a screw driver.

Usually not that hard. There will be a jubilee clip (belt type clip with a screw) at each end of the rubber carb/engine joining hoses. You need to loosen these and pull the hose off. Getting them back on can be hard but try without any form of lube at first. They should pop back on. If not use a thin smeer of light oil.
