Peugeot Speedfight 2

I am having problems with my speedfight 2 an would like some advise if anyone could help me, the problem is that there is no spark and as such i have changed the plug, ht lead, coil, CDI unit and still have had no success thus i am here asking for advice, any idea's will be a great help thanks stevo.

just a thought, but dont the speed fights have immoblisers?? that could be worth taking into consideration! have a look at that, could well be the cause. unfortunatly i dont know anything about immoblisers (have never owned or worked on a speed fight) so i cant help you out with that. ask a garage to check that one for you.

When you turn your ignition on do's the flashing LED on the dash go out? If not,the immobiliser has locked itself.
Seems to be a common fault with Speedfights. Replacing the CDI alone will not help as it needs to be matched to its original ignition barrel and the round plastic sensor which clips around the barrel and plugs in to the CDI.
If the immobiliser has locked out and you still have the original keys(the red one with the chip in it) then there are places,probably an official Peugeot dealer who can reprogramme it.
If you replace the CDI,you must also buy its matching ignition barrel and sensor. These go on ebay for about £100.
Alternatively you can buy a new non immobiliser cdi designed specifically to bypass the immobiler.
