NSR125R Carb Tubes????

Can anyone help me out with this. I removed the carb the other day and had a look at the reeds, while fiddling about and refitting, i noticed 3 tubes (black rubber about 5mm OD, 3mm ID) Hanging about. I believed these to be numbers 29, 30 and 31 on the diagram below.

Are these just venting tubes?

in fact it's 5 pipes coming in the carb . 1 black rubber which is the fuel feed , 1 black rubber (less thicker) which is oil feed , 2 plastic thin pipes coming on top which are breathers pipe (on each side) , 1 about the same under the float chamber which is a purge exit

thanks alains, you are a wealth of knowledge, it was those latter 3 you mentioned i was refering to, and i thought as much.

you know the plastic tray which sits over the inlet/card, which holds all the wiring inplace, can i just remove that and leave it off? cos it gets in the way when working on the bike/carb.

i'm afraid no , because it holds the servo-motor and all connectors are packed on the left . if you find a DIY thing to hold the servo it's possible .

yeah, i have thought about doing that. Is that directional? or should i say does it have to sit that way up in that position? just before i move it and do some damage.

it must stay as it is actually . the tray is held on 2 pins on the right side , may be you can thread these pins ans use them to fix a plate where you can fix the servo on the same position as it is now

ok, will consider it. It would make accessing the carb and reeds more easily for future upgrades.

well the funny thing is i cant find the 8 mm allen key to open my tank and im going 2 work now and a guy is comeing 2day 2 buy my bike . my dad is gona sort all the paper work go so ill miss the nsr Sad

if i do find it tho with in the next 45 min i will take a pic

the pink stuff on the air box is fiber glass because the prev person tought it was fully 2 drill holes on the airbox Laughing

that was one thing i was gonna ask, with all the new mods im fitting, gianelli exhaust, uprated jets, reeds, will i need any modifications to my airbox?

i think i may have seen a picture of it somewhere but im not 100% if its the same one. I couldnt quite figure out which part of the airbox it was, unless it was the top.

it definately isnt the same pic then, cos the one i seen had loadsa holes all over this particular part of the box. ill post it up if i can find it.

hold on, it was alains guide afterall, there are 3 solutions on there, the second one is what i was refering too. On his airbox, there is a grid on the top next to the collector tray. That has all been drilled out.

The 3rd on is the tube/hole thing you mentioned.

I was thinking i could use some large bore hose of some sort anf continue it from the air duct tube that comes from the front. Good idea or bad? as i dont wanna be scooping up water if it rains.
