how do you all keep your cool?
as a biker i find that there seems to be a number of people out there with the intent of causing me serious injury through dopey driving.
Im generally not a violent person but how on earth can you not react and drag them out of their cages and give them the kicking they deserve.
Ive allready had one 'moment' that fortunatey for me didnt get me into trouble with the old bill (the door was locked) so i couldnt derag them out without putting a window through.
but the thing is... this really isnt me, im a bit of an old hippy at heart live and let live and all that.
how can i keep the red mist at bay |

I used to get so mad riding my bike - as you said - it seemed like people were heart-set on wiping me out! But maybe I've just mellowed out a bit with time, or maybe I've just realised that most people in cars really haven't got a clue, so I therefore ride as defensively as possible - expect that idiot to pull out of that junction, or that fool not to yield on the roundabout - then I'm ready to react! Mind you I still get red-mist moments, but not as much as I used to! ____________________

I know exactly how you feel but i've progressed from feeling the need to tail gate etc... i generally pull along side them now in a low gear, give a friendy beep on the horn then offer the one fingered salute
or perhaps a slow motion w a n k e r sign for the blokes then just crack the throttle open & crack some ear drums with a good parp from the zorst.....
sad i know but it helps to relieve the tension in these moments... |

Now, I tell myself they are stupid dullards. In my past I took other actions, one of which lead to this situation: -
White van man on a motorway roundabout is indicating to leave at the next exit, I (foolishly) trust the indicator and go for the overtake, WVM keeps going round the roundabout...... I hit the side of the van, but stay on the bike as it's a very low angle of attack, WVM hears the impact and stops, winds window down and start to voice his opinion of my riding, his view is not valid in my opinion so I get hold of his shirt and drag him through his van window, my right arm is fully cocked to break his nose when I realise it wont move, there is a suspicuous lime green colour behind me........
The copper (bike plod) tells me to "go over there and sit down, NOW", I take this 'advice'.
About ten minutes later the bike cop tells me he wont do me for ABH, or threatening and that he's just nicked WVM for due care, if I'd it WVM it would have been GBH he was charging me with
I was lucky that time, I doubt I'd be that lucky again, if I decided to hit someone, they'd not walk away from it so I'd be in gaol, no paypacket, no beer, no girlies..... Amazing how perspective and a few years can mellow a person. ____________________ If beer is so bad for your brain cells, why does my brain let me drink so much?? Well???? |

I'm an angry little boy
When i was test riding a K6 GSXR 600 i had a twat pull over from the slow lane straight across the fast lane to do a U turn and he was doing about 40 when the speed limit is 80.
What did i do? Slammed on the brakes, did the U turn and rode next to him for a bit before sticking my fist through his window and knocking his mirror off.
Fucking cunt. ____________________ wizzzard wrote: Imagine God just stopping by, tidying your front room up and then quietly letting himself out again. Statisticly more likely to happen than Korn being on here. |

When I feal like kicking the door of a car, I flip off. But most of japanese idiot drivers don't understand the gesture .
It helps me a lot from kicking the door. |

Strange, I usually find it hard to keep my cool, but riding incidents don't usually get to me that much, maybe because I anticipate their stupidity before they cut me up. Some shouting and the use of my horn will suffice though. I will often shout at myself/sheep/anyone who hears, if I do a stupid manouvre and nearly crash. So if you ride past a 2 stroke whose rider is shouting "FUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCK", then it could be me. |
