A really small turbo should be able to give some reasonable performance improvement over std, but i would say that doing some headwork on the CG motor and trying to get bigger valves in there would give some great gains.

There would be a noticable difference from 11bhp to 15bhp, but 15bhp is about 75mph max on the most aerodynamic sports bikes, and maybe 70mph on an upright machine?

i have the same engine in the por apache and geared right it will do 80 mph with only a carb upgrade and no there is no indicated crap here, this was pulled over by police then told to keep calm lol (i was on a duel caridgeway anyway)

indicated was 130kph have had indicated up to 145 kph so guessing around 85mph actual on the local airfield

According to this website the engine produces 17hp. It's the same as the dayang engine but with a different brand name (Lifan).

Geared up it'll probably get to 80.

yeah the 200cc lump is in there same one as chris, dont know of the actual power output but with the standard carb it wouldnt pull past 105kph

i changed the carb and changed the gearing from 15/48 to 17/32

i have heard of someone round here on a cb 250 n they have an indicated 95mph

The engine is quite good. AJP use them in there 125 and 200 enduro bikes.

The weak point is probably the clutch. I can get parts for them easy enough, I work for an AJP dealer and starting to race them too.

the turbo is still big compared to the tiny engine.

I saw a website the other day that specialised in small turbos. This is like the big daddy compared to what they had.

did you have to do much math before decided what turbo to pick or is it just 'ill make that one work'.

Hypothetically...

Lets say you had a GSXR750, fuel injected and pretty much stripped to a rolling chassis with an engine.

It has around 187cc per cylinder...and you put one turbo on each pipe Cool

If you had it for about 3 weeks.

Wink

I will get you a ginger girlfriend in exchange Thumbs Up
