Headphones?

Are there any headphones designed to fit under a helmet? Bog standard ones just don't seem to do the job for me.

Sony do ones like those Sennheisers. Great sound, fit really well and cuts out a lot of background noise.

I've been using the Koss 'Plugs'. Cost me about 6 quid (from amazon IIRC), and they scrunch up like earplugs then expand to fit. For cheap phones, the sound is excellent, and they're brilliant on the bike, comfy and they cut out pretty much all wind noise so you don't need to max your volume out just to hear. I've been usinng them for a while too, and despite having a hard life there are no crackles or pops yet.

In THIS i wrote about my ER6 that i own. They cost me about £70 but are great. Im still yet to test them on a bike as not riding at the moment but Hotdog recently brought a pair and said they are excellent on a bike, mine are still in great condition about about 8months and i take them everywhere with me, not in their case either.

I use these, they have amazing sound quality, and fit in the ear very well.

The best bit is they hook over your ear, I find with standard earphones if you turn a bit quickly you can pull the earphone out of your ear, but with these they are attached to your head so you don't run the risk.

Only paid like £35 for them too Cool

I tried some sony bluetooth ones that you can buy for phones like the W850i. Come with a bluetooth receiver on a cord you can listen to music and answer the phone if necessary (dunno about the tomtom but I guess that would work too). Feature small silicone-type ear buds that completely plug into the ear canal and thus filter out all wind noise and are supremely comfortable.

Comfortable.. Flat.. Pretty decent sound quality..
