If i can wheelie an RX50, you should be able to do it on an NSR125.
But because of the gearing on my hog i can only do it from a standstill. Just give the bike plenty of revs and dump the clutch in 1st, will take a few trys to get the clutch right (as your mind will be telling you DONT DO THAT!!) Also you'll need to shift your weight around the bike pretty fast. Try it at different revs each time for a better height, just dont flip it, you might even be able to keep it up because you have a more powerful engine than me! I wouldent make a habit of it either, it puts quite a strain on your clutch and gearbox! ____________________ Will work for petrol

Hi, as I say on almost all the wheelie threads, you can wheelie ANY BIKE! its all about your body positioning. If you hang off the back like a monkey sot he front end is light before you even set off then open the throttle it should come up nice and easy and you can control it and find your balancing point with th rear brake, Dan ____________________ Don't ride it, RAG IT!! |

my speedfight 100 doesnt wheelie and its got a little bit more power than most 50's id imagine. Too damn front end heavy. And ive tried loads to get the front up includint hanging off the back almost. The most ive got is a few inches for about a metre.
unless I got a PM tuning exhaust (£240 for a scooter pipe wtf?!) which gives I think its 14bhp over the stock 9bhp I dont think you could wheelie one of these.
Ive not managed to wheelie my DT yet although I havent tried but I have slipped the clutch to fast before and it hasnt lifted the front. Damn I cant wait to derestric it and get a tuned exhaust ____________________ 04' DT125RE (run-a-bout) // 89' DT125R (rebuilt + supermoto conversion)

I doubt you'd be able to get the front wheel up through power and a bit of clutch slip, as its quite a heavy bike. It'd come up by dumping the clutch, but thats just shit and pointless. If you want a 125 that will wheely without dumping the clutch, get an RD125LC like me, front wheel comes up with some clutch slip, all the crosser style bikes will be the same, as their power to weight ratios are better than the likes of RS's etc.
Not really worth wheelying a 125 though. ____________________ Honda MBX50 | Yamaha RD125LC | Suzuki RG125F Lucky Strike | Suzuki GSF600S
