Just thought I'd post a few pics, I don't think there's been any Z750s on BCF so far...

Cheers! It's not a 'sports' bike so I did wonder what people would make of it. Even though it's not as good as the ninja I had, or my old Supermoto in some ways but I seem to get 'more' out of it...

They're Renthal Street Fighters and have a slightly lower sweep compared to the stock bars. I'm having some problems with vibrations at high revs but will hopefully have that sorted soon.

Not great. The Z1000 come with a screen but I hear it's not great either. There are loads of aftermarket screens out there with good reviews (that also look good) so I'm planning to invest in one!

Yea at the hospital a doctor had a z1000 and said he was trading it in as cant get past 110mph on it Thumbs Down was getting a GSXR1000k6 instead.

You got any pics of screens that look good?

Not personally, but if you go to www.riderforums.com there's a big Z1/750 forum which has all (and more) you'll ever need to know/see about them! Thumbs Up

Shame the guy at the hospital is trading the Zed in for the Gixxer, it should be quite easy to get top speed out of the Zeds with a decent screen, but if he's after a 'top speed' bike then the Zed isn't the best.

Can't go past 110? Psh, didn't Kickstart get over 160 on his bandit?
Lovely bike, saw one for the first time on ebay today as it goes and I was very impressed, not normally a Kawasaki man...

I think he meant 110+ for a long period of time, wouldnt be hard to get up to that speed just staying there is another question, ive found it hell on a faired bike so much be very Thumbs Down on somthing with little wind pretection

I have shorts bursts on the Z at over a ton (on private roads of course Thumbs Up ) but couldn't keep those speeds up for a long period of time as it becomes uncomfortable. Oddly enough, this is no different from what I did with my ninja, I never really held high speeds for long.

All depends on what you're after.

Phew... the way you said "z750s on BCF" and not "z750's on BCF" had me worried there. Was expecting the nasty faired 'sit-up-n-beg' bandit'esk version - can't imagine what kawasaki were thinking when they made that. Had they made the screen lower, given it lower clip-ons and a split seat they would have been onto a winner.... But they didn't so your's is how they are meant to be Thumbs Up

The sharp angles on the arse and tank certainly make it one ean S.O.B Cool

Not sure on the handlebar mounted mirrors Confused They would look stupid mounted on the tiny front fairing, but remind me of a ladies compact mirror Laughing

See a green one in the flesh for the 1st time the other day, looked fecking hard, if not a little small.

Would consider one in the future Thumbs Up

I followed a z750 home from work the other day, the rear looked proper nice, then it accelerated off. I think I might go for one as my next bike, something different to the common sports bike.

I can't see why you need to go more than a ton for a long period, thats just asking for a ban.
