Right i want to get my first one soon.

I want it on the upper arm, i like the look of either tribal or a lion or mybe even a decent Cross tattoo.

I am having trouble finding a really nice design that i like, any one got any?

If you insist on having a tattoo, design your own, then you know its unique to you.

yea couldnt agree more, my friend got a "out of the catalog" one on his back and its looks sh*t.

If/when i get one its going to have meaning to my life and things that have happened Thumbs Up

Also i dont think upper arms look good at all, think a large design on the back is x10 better Thumbs Up

Arrow Also, im i weird if i always wanted to get "Andy" in child writing on my left foot sole like out of Toy Story??? i think it would be really random and quite cool. Laughing

I've considered getting a tattoo myself, and friends that already have them have all advised to avoid "out of the catalog" designs.
The advice was to make or suggest a design unique to you, because any tattoo artist with sufficient talent shouldn't have a problem with a custom design.
Basically if the artist isn't willing or able to do anything other than catalog designs, then you should probably avoid them like the plague

HTH Thumbs Up Wink

tattoo flash is perfectly fine in my books, better infact unless your an artist and can draw well, i've designed one tattoo myself and i'm in the middle of designing a fish eagle tattoo that so far has taken 4-5 months getting it just how I want and it just takes sooooooooooo long. Infact a better idea still is to modify some tattoo flash a little so its unique but your not starting from scratch.
My next tattoos i'm going to use flash i'm not going to bother with making it original just use what I like (tattoo flash btw is what you call out of the catologue stuff).

Theirs actually torrent files where you can download like 5-6 gig of reeeeeally hihg quality professional flash. I've got some stunning stuff, if you post up what images you fancy doing - personally I would try and avoid tribal/chinese lettering and stuff that will make you look like david beckham and will go out of fashion but its up to you - and i'll have a look through it for some examples (theirs tons of cross designs in their if you want me to post that up or send the high res stuff by email).

Yeah flash isn't neccesarilly a bad thing, IMHO.

these are two pics of some of my tats, the celtic cross is a one off, the dragons are pretty much all flash art.

A good friend of mine is a tattooist, and will will design one to your exact specs if you want him too. Normally costs around £20-£40 depending on size and detail etc

It might not be the football. Whilst the rest of us work on GMT or BST, tattooists work on When I Feel Like Opening Time.

Opening times tend to be very optimistic. So, if it says they open at 10.30 am, they probably start inking people at about noon.

Well, all the ones I've ever visited seem to work on some alternative time system to the rest of the world, anyway. Laughing

Man, that tiger looks a bit, er, fruity or something. You'd need to watch yourself in communal showers if you got that on your shoulder blade.
