I saw them in my local Aldi a while back. Haven't seen any lately. They seem to get things in batches, and maybe some time before they get somemore in, though there maybe some in their other stores.
Aparently they were Caberg labelled in another country but not Caberg labelled in Aldi.
TBH, I didn't thing much of them. They didn't look particularly stunning, It looked, and felt cheap.. and I wouldn't use one on my head ____________________ BMW R1200GS & Honda Fireblade 929RR

| Quote: | Tbh mate, that helmet is probably absolutely fine, it will be an average comfort, average protection helmet of average quality. |
Not quite sure what all this average is...and how you came up with an average.
| Quote: | Nothing special, but not dangerous, it will keep your noggin in one piece just as well as any other to a rediculous percentage | .
No approved helmet is going to be dangerous until the rider comes off, and it comes into contact with the ground or an object. All the approval sticker on the helmet means that it has reached an approved standard by the ACU. Most of the higher specced and priced helmets, would have gone through additional testing by the manufacturer, and can resist/withstand higher impact forces, or multiple impacts in different areas of the helmet. (The cheaper helmets would have only gone through one impact at a specific force to get their approved sticker!). Now just imagine that you come off your bike at speed or get knocked off your bike etc, you'll be lucky to get away with one impact from your helmet with the ground, it could even be several times.
For me, I would get a helmet from a more reputable brand, and pay as much as my budget would allow.
Look around and go to some shops. Some decent branded helmets which have been in the stock for some time, or even 'Last years colours' can be found at good discounted prices.
Don't just fall in the catergory of 'I chose my helmet because it looks good, it was cheap' ____________________ BMW R1200GS & Honda Fireblade 929RR

Saying that Toby as much as I agree with you to an extent most helmets over about £150 will just waste the lad's money. Above this sort of price you are almost definitely paying for flashness rather than safety. ____________________ Bluespark Automotive - Diesel Tuning for Performance and Economy |

its funny too DD rings are supposed to be better than the seat belt type clip in things , I'm a bit on the fence on this one but its not likely you'll fuck up the mechanism on a DD ring system compared to a comparatively complex clip in system ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die.
