Perhaps an idea to specify if he wants £15k or if he spent £15k building it.

Sorry, I'm not interested myself, but if you're trying to sell it for him, that would be a good start, never mind other details Smile.

At first glance it looks like a pretty much standard bike with a race fairing - i'd be interested to know exactly why it's 15 grand!
(it's still got a sidestand for fooks sake!)

I never understand people's fascination with removing side stands on a track bike (that's track, not race). Why? I bought one off eBay and added it to mine when I bought it! Laughing

I can see an aftermarket can (or full race system?), Ohlins sterring damper, Ohlins front and rear suspension (I think?) and I'm sure there's more.

The wheels are non-standard as well aren't they? I might be mistaken.

They do look like non-standard wheels and aren't those radial calipers a bit trick too? I think that whole front end is off a newer bike.

Quick release fuel cap, if that's gunna sway it for you? lol

I also get the feeling the bike didn't come with a black frame and swinger........

Looks like a K4 so the black frame should be standard. Thumbs Up

Over here (europe, mainland Smile ) you can get a new gsxr1000 k7 for 8000 euro (~5300 pound) ex plate and taxes. Change the suspension, brake stuff, get fairings and basically you`re done Laughing

Anyway, nice bike Very Happy always thought our bikes are expensive, guess not. Looks like ohlins? that does not come cheap
