At first glance it looks like a pretty much standard bike with a race fairing - i'd be interested to know exactly why it's 15 grand!

They do look like non-standard wheels and aren't those radial calipers a bit trick too? I think that whole front end is off a newer bike.

Quick release fuel cap, if that's gunna sway it for you? lol

I also get the feeling the bike didn't come with a black frame and swinger........

Over here (europe, mainland ) you can get a new gsxr1000 k7 for 8000 euro (~5300 pound) ex plate and taxes. Change the suspension, brake stuff, get fairings and basically you`re done

Anyway, nice bike always thought our bikes are expensive, guess not. Looks like ohlins? that does not come cheap
