Hope one of you can help me here, know your all good at IT stuff (and im not Embarassed)

My phone is a sony-erricson K750i
https://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d20/andy13_uk/sony-ericsson-K750i--f-600.jpg

And thought it would be funny to get some sound clips from the PC game "Worms 2" and put them on for when i get a text. The phone has a cable and is easy to get them on.

I downloaded some that were in WinZip so had to extract them and they went on no problem. Plays them fine but werent the sound clips i wanted, i wanted on when they say "incoming" or simular.

My brother came home recently and he had Worms 2 on has thousands of sound clips from the game and found the audio files. I used a USB stick and got them onto my laptop and then onto my phone but when i go to play them on my phone it says "Cannot play this sound".

So, i started looking at what differences there are in the two sound clips. i attached them both (one that works first and then they one that doesnt)

Both are Wave files and only difference ive found is that the one that doesnt work is 2bit (one that does is 1bit)

Can anyone tell me hope i would make soundclip 2 be the same as soundclip one and maybe even do it for me and then ill put on my phone and see if it works??

LOTS of karma for help as really need a new txt tone!!

I use this.......(free) Audacity To export to MP3 you also need to download a dll file. Info here..lame_enc.dll

Don't worry its not complicated. Wink

Ok open the program. drag the music file you want to convert into the blank area.

Now click on 'file' and then 'export as MP3'...It will then say 'cant find lame_enc.dll ' (thats the one you need to download from the above link).
If you havn't downloded 'lame_enc.dll' do it now and remember where you put it, I put mine in the Audacity plug in folder. Audacity will ask you to show it where it is (you will only have to do this once Wink ).
Once you have shown it, the program will convert your file to MP3 so you can use it on your phone.
