Nice, and I agree with the number plate, there is no point of the small one and getting fined for using it!
I'm in the market for a 600 too, I'll be getting an FZR or such like myself, so the daddy to the Thundercat. |

Relatively low mileage for a Cat that age and already has the R&G's for when you drop it
Great first bike |

looks like a good example! Decent price too
Would you not want to view it first before travelling all that way and buying? Thats why ive now started to look more local for my next bike. ____________________ CBT - Done | Theory - Passed | Test - 4th Oct [PASSED!]

That's a good price, especially if you can get it down to £1500. A very good price. Looks like a tidy example with most the extras I'd expect.
You want to ride it on the day before you take it home - even with that mileage it might be suffering the God forbidden 2nd gear killing itself.
Best of luck, I've done about 1500 miles on mine since late April, and it's just brilliant, when I've got the money to maintain it. Not even out of the ordinary maintenance! Why didn't anyone tell me you can't have a bike and quit your job at the same time?! |

hes got the full plate, he did a police bike safe test with that plate on it and they said it was fine, but ill be putting the full one on, as police around here are abit picky.
hes also got the clear screen.
he said he knows all about the 2nd gear, but its never done it too him, he did around 1500 miles on it the year he's owned it.
seems a good enough guy, hes a Telecommunications Consultant

for a similar price you could get a 2000 tt600 with about 10000 miles
tt600 on ebay
might be worth giving one a test ride, see if you like it
they are more agile than thundercat, but power delivery on thundercat is better
the 2000 tt600 has on off power delivery and you need to really rev it hard to get it. The power only kicks in at very high revs. the 2001 has better midrange
thundercats are probably better for long distance, but i find a tt600 more fun because its agile ____________________ colin1 is officially faster than god

I hope it doesnt rain on my ride back, i feel im a competent rider, but if its hammering it down, on a new bike, the power at slow speeds in towns may be a pain, sure ill be okay, but any tips as i dont want the back end slipping up and spitting me of me *new* bike.
Cant wait till monday now !
cheers, Steve. ____________________ Current : 06 Zx10r, 07 Wr450f SM, 74 850 norton commando, 63 bsa b40, 1962 Triton 650, 67 Triumph Tr6r, 1955 Triton 750, 1978 TY250E. |

I rode a brand new ZX10R 180 miles home from Newcastle and it rained for half the journey, i was very worried indeed about binning it, but i made it home ok.
