2 pages MAX...if it's more than two people switch off, personnel bods have enough to read through so dont bore them with pages of stuff, nice neat and well laid out personal info.
Exams passed etc etc, hobbies - 1 liner, a small para about yourself and your good qualities, then list each job in brief bullet points.
Tbh I'd be more impressed by a neat to the point 1 page CV with factual info than 2-3 pages of stuff that I cannot flick through and gain the actual information I require from quickly.... ____________________ Always believe that your guardian angel flies a bit faster than you............... |

The shorter the better, but not too short.
Anything over 2 or even 3 pages is too much and will be boring to read, the information will be hard to locate and decipher ____________________ Current : MSX 125 Past : CBR 900RR Monkeybike : c50 LAC : ZXR750 H2 : FZR600 : ZX7R P3 : YW100 : TRX850: Trophy 900 T309 : GSXR 600 L0: Monkeybike : XJ6S Whosthedaddy |

fuckin hell Breeze , anything not too relevant put something like
my jobs before this involved (insert skill here) say like
my jobs before 2003 involved patience , stamina and an eye for detail
hence you can compress tons of old jobs into a single sentence.
details provided on request for previous jobs.
anyway what happened to the warrington job?. ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will. In the end, your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure it is worth watching. |

Ayeeee thats me, got an holiday to pay off you see, plus i want some money for clothes and the bike/ and new bike/ plus bills, vinyl etc etc, the list is endless!
Nar i think the first choice ones about the same money 18k a year rising to 24k with experience, so fingers crossed, if not then have to try something else, like Royal Bank of Scotland.
I would just like a customer service type role, Travel is preferable although im open to options like Banks/Insurance.
And yeah drinks are on me, but i only drinks Holts Holts "ROCKET FUEL" Bitter. ____________________ JACK, MISS YOU LOADS YOU LEGEND. |

Maximum of 2 pages, Lots of 'white'
Bullet point relevant skills previous jobs etc.
Don't worry too much about things that have no real impact for the job you are applying for. ____________________ Funny, I used to hate being spanked as a child!

No no no no.
The thing about 2 pages is bollox. Your CV should be as long as it needs to be, but all the information on it should be relevant.
For example, lets say you are a social worker. You have 15 years experience doing social work type jobs. You only need to give info on the last 10 years as you will have dont the same skills in more detail then than when you were training, so just put companies name, dates worked and position held for the first 5 years worth of jobs.
If you did a job in a highstreetclothes shop during that 15 years, the experience is not relevant so you would just companies name, dates worked and position held and minimal experience details if its transferable.
You should always tailor a CV for each individual job.
If you like, tell me what you are going for and i will rewrite it for you in a decent format.
(im a recruitment consultant by the way - badenoch&clark if you are interested)

for IT/Tech support CVs can and often are 5-6 pages long detailing experience with tons of programs proficiency and any qualifications associated with them , this is a limited case though and does not apply to jobs outside IT , ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die.
