The rs is likely to be a bit faster than the rs2. But the rs2 should be more reliable and cheaper to run, maintenance insurance etc. RS2s are also cheaper to buy, so you could get a used 04 model for about £1000-1200. ____________________ Rieju MRX 50 Castrol Edition |

Stick with a push bike until you are 17 and get a 125cc or a Re-stricted big bike.
You will regret buying a 50, IMHO they are dangerous even more unreliable then an old Skoda and have about the same top end speed as I do running (I am 20 stone aswell )
Dangerous - Not quick enough to pull out of junctions in a controlled manner, people pick on you due to how slow they go
Unreliable - Because of the tiny engines you have to keep them pinned at all times and find you are in 6th gear before leaving the roundabout, I am no mechanic but this constant abuse surely leads to a short life??
Speed - You will be lucky to get 50mph out of them and that is even if your a skinny little whipet. IMO they are dangerously slow.
It is your choice, but I would advise waiting a little while either that or get a crappy little scoot for a couple of hundred and run it into the ground while you are waiting to get a bigger bike - that way you have spent very little.
Edit: Not pick on you because you have spots but bully you whilst on the road, i.e contstantly trying to overtake, push you to the side of the road etc etc etc ____________________ Suzuki VL Intruder 125cc - September 2004 to July 2005

I will have to agree to disagree on this one me old fructis, only I think they are terribley slow and often due to this fact put the rider in danger.
That said, it is only on the faster roads in which these people choose to ride then become hazardous, I suppose if they stuck to 30/40mph roads then there would be minimal problems??!
Each to their own ay?? ____________________ Suzuki VL Intruder 125cc - September 2004 to July 2005

I have an RS50. My mate hs an RS2.
The RS2 is alot smaller than the rs.
It's a lot cheaper because its fairly cheaply stuck together.
You have to lift up the petrol tank to put 2t oil in.
Its skinnier than the RS.
My RS is faster.
I'd go for the RS
BTW a fair few 50cc's can keep up with most traffic. To be honest its only the national speed limit roads that i get overtaken on. And the pulling out thing... i an pull out faster than most 5 door cars |

mate i cant c how the rs50 is faster as they both got the same engine.
unless u changed your sprokets for top speed. if the rs2 change it spokets it would most prob be the same as the rs50 |
