Svens to blame for our demise, Rooney shouldnt have been playing up front he doesnt enjoy playing there, Rooney is a genius but with that also comes a darker side as with most highly talented people no matter what field of life they are in, Rooney gets very frustrated as he is not being given the sort of delivery that he thrives on and his frustration was obvious for us all to see, if we had strikers from the start we would have easily gone through, there where many chances that the likes of shearer and owen would have slid in as the ball came across the goal front.
Lennon was great in every game he played in, his pace troubled everyone, why he wasnt played from the start is another mind boggler, why bring theo out and not even try the boy?.
As much as I like Beckham he is now passed his best, he resigned as captain today and I really feel for the fella, he will never get another chance to lift the world cup, I just hope he gets the chance in Euro 2008.
