The more you use the clutch the stronger your wrist will become, give it a few weeks and it won't hurt any more ____________________ -Zimma |

I do all of the above, sometimes especially round london where its stop start stop start, the tendons feel like they're gonna snap.
So funky chicken comes out, as does Saturday night fever, and when it starts getting a bit warm down below a bit of twist and shout, combine all three and it looks like I'm having a fit on my bike. |

It's something I get whenever I haven't ridden for a while, only way round it is to build up the strength again.
When I started riding I had wrist pain for the first three months or so, every morning I'd wake up with a dead hand. |

I had painful wrists when I started riding, it eased after a few weeks and shaking the hands every so often helped, problem was it was my right hand that hurt the most
What about changing the bar ends, dampers or seating position (grip more with the legs, sit back further) ____________________ Current : MSX 125 Past : CBR 900RR Monkeybike : c50 LAC : ZXR750 H2 : FZR600 : ZX7R P3 : YW100 : TRX850: Trophy 900 T309 : GSXR 600 L0: Monkeybike : XJ6S Whosthedaddy |

What do you ride? I can't ride more than 20 miles in stop-start traffic on my bike, my hand just totally dies.

I get this if I spend any more than a few weeks off the bike and go for a decent ride. I find that after a few days back on it im fine.
My wrist hurts and everytime i need to pull the clutch in the back off my hand kills.
If Im riding every day it never seems to be an issue.
Was really bad when i first started riding took near a whole week for it to pass.
SO be happy in the knowledge that the answer to your problem is simply ride more ____________________ meh |
