Well its currently 02.39 in the am. i am shattered. but cant sleep cos it is too hot and sticky Evil or Very Mad

we need a thunder storm to clear the air, but alas no we dont get one. to be honest i'm fed up. the weather in england is ridiculous. the other week it was freezing cold and raining. now it is boiling hot and sticky.

why cant we just have a nice hot, dry, (not sticky like it is atm) summer? like every other countryin between the south and north pole.

so annoyed. Thumbs Down Evil or Very Mad Thumbs Down

Stop your moaning. Buy a £15 fan from B&Q to help you sleep. Get out on your bike and enjoy the hot sticky roads, ride to the coast or to a quarry for a refreshing dip. Make the most of it, it'll be winter again before you know it.

yea we just have some rain but now it feels even hotter. It sucks a bit as riding in this weather must be amazing (though a little hot) Crying or Very sad

In the day its great but at night does get a little sh*t. I have a cold shower before bed last night and that helped, i was even shivering after as i got a bit carried away with how cold it needed to be Laughing

It's nice when you're going 50+ but when you stop at a junction or lights it's just too hot. It also makes me stressed where i can't stop for too long, too hot for leathers aswell.

By the time i lock the bike up, take clothes off i'm exhausted.

I generally like the hot weather, its just a bit of a pain when im working as am outside all day. My biking jacket and gloves are crap for this weather, the jacket is too hot and once my gloves get a bit damp from sweat they are difficult to put on. Its very tempting at the moment to leave the jacket at home as it has to be carried around when iv gone out some where on the bike due to being too hot to wear when not riding.

Of course i can see your problem, sitting at home wanking over porn with the curtains closed can get a little stuffy.

It's the humidity which is terrible. I've been getting in 3 or 4 cold showers a day, but I'm still ending up a sticky mess. The only place I'm enjoying right now is an air conditioned pub with a lager.

We should count ourselves lucky; I was in New York last year in August, the humidity is absolutely ridiculous. We braved it one day and between Midday and 3pm the streets are virtually empty, it's incredible.

In this weather, if I wasn't in a hurry and wasn't going out for 'fun', I would choose an air-conditioned car over a bike. But obviously I'd still choose the bike for a good time. Wink

man... you guys are such pussies.

It's going to be 93 fucking degrees here today (farenheight)

and that's still nothing... in AZ one year the temp was up to 126.

On the day my brothers and sister and I decided to bake our mom her birthday cake.

In a house with no AC.

Pussies.

Buy an air conditioner, they're a fooking life saver. I really don't like the heat, it makes me very irritable!

Anything around 24c is lovely.

Ahhhhhhh bloody moaning, its glorious, just a shame im too ill to enjoy the weather at the moment Crying or Very sad And the hayfevers a bitch. And it isnt that humid, try going to singapore, 38 degrees, pissing thunderstorms and standing Changi Metro station waiting for the train to the city, was very sweaty, just enjoy it, and get in shower if it bothers you that much. Its better than being cold and wet.
