Due to a new job not turning out to be what I expected and a possible newer one falling through I am now looking for work. However if possible I would like something which has specific hours/conditions.

I am looking for a job that is prefferably 4 days a week, doesnt require working weekends, at least not both days and pays reasonably well. 12 hour shifts if possible, however I do not want to do night shifts. This is as I like to have my daytime's free, early starts are also another possibility. Wages around £12k+ would be nice.

My qualifications are limited to 10 GCSE's A-C with the 3 major ones and an A level in Design&Technology, C grade. My experience is mainly based around customer service but I have also done data inputting and warehouse work, which if possible I would also like to avoid.

Can anyone think of anything that fit's my criteria, if you do then let me know.

the thing that came to mind was bread factory which I worked in a few years back some early early starts about 3-4AM , but finished about 11AM,

If you want to sell your soul work for a Mcd's bread place , my mate works in one of those and makes £8/h.

Or find a council job share , those jobs are always over paid require very little work and can always be shared , a job at bury council pays 24K , can job share and is a 9-5 , so effectively you can work 9-1 , sack the rest of the day off and still come home with 215 a week.

that said working 9-5 is annoying me a bit since I can never buy anything anymore all the bike shops are closed (cept HG ) by 5pm and parts being especially hard to find.

Job hunting is a b*tch, ive been looking for simple office work and nothing since i havnt got experience but do have lots of lifeguarding exp.

I have A levels and GCSEs but that not enough for office junior type apprantly Rolling Eyes

Good luck but if your like me you wont have much luck with 9-5 mon-fri office jobs Thumbs Down Not sure what else there is really. I havnt found any that pay as much as £12k either, that could be an issue aswell.

good luck though Thumbs Up

Reuben.

Croydon home office. You'll find something there, they always need staff. Only downside is that recruitment takes months.

Makes perfect sense, I do not wish to work night shifts as I would then be sleeping during the day. I would prefer to work an early shift or 4 days a week as I am then free to do as I please in a/the day.

I realise this is pretty specific and doubt I will ever find a job like it, something near however may be possible.

What about on the rigs as a roustabout? Some drilling companies are taking on trainee ones, so they will put you through all the training you need (Offshore survival, Lifting & Slinging etc...) I think they start on £21,500 as trainee then the full roustabout will be on about £28,000. And all they do is all the painting, cleaning on the rig floor and generally help out. It would be 2wks on 2wks off with 2wks paid leave. Looks like it will change next year to 2wks on 3wks off which is good Thumbs Up . If you stick in then you go up to Roughneck £34-£36K, Derrickman £40K then Driller £57K and then the Toolpushers are on about £65K.
