Well, travelling at a rate of knots up the motorway, lost some power and I felt something very hot splatter all over my legs Shocked realising my engine was probably rapidly emptying its oil content all over the motorway and my back wheel I tucked into the left lane, but being 7 miles from home I decided it was gonna get me there, or at least nearly...

Came off the motorway slip ramp, with the throttle pinned to stop it from stalling, and using normal roundabout rules, went through the temp traffic lights (it was an emergency Laughing ) Nearly lost the rear end twice going around it, even though I was as upright and slow as could be, then found my rear brake wasnt functioning at all, totally covered in nice brown oil.

Bike sounds great though! Like a twin Cool which effectively I guess it is now.

I did manage to get all the way home, which I really didnt think I would manage so Thumbs Up so I think I'm going to leave the bike as is for the time being, and buy that sports tourer I've been fancying. Will have the 400 for fun when its re-engined.

I'm gutted slightly Confused

Sorry for the long post I think I'm a bit hyped

At least mine will be working now! Laughing

Me too Thumbs Up

Unlucky, thats another ZXR heading for the great big breakers in the sky. At least the young teenage boys will be happy, they wont have their loins stirring everytime they see and hear that fine looking bike.

It's true, the always-present danger of the engine spilling it's guts all over the rear tyre must make for a more 'exciting' engine Wink

You're actually a bit of a cunt for carrying on whilst your bike is spilling out plenty of oil. Seeing as most people on this forum blame coming off on Diesel, you don't want to be playing devils advocate by dumping more crap on the road. Wink

May I just defend Kwaks for a second............................

They are Green (Proper ones anyway), fast and aggressive. Teenage boys sprout chest hair and young girls fall pregnant when a Kwak roars past.

They sound and look gorgeous.

Owning a Kwak is an experience.

I swear I wil never buy a Honda (The Mondeo's of biking).

Kawasaki's have fucking soul.

I thank you.

End.

And another one bites the dust.

I'm looking forward to the next thread telling a kiddie to buy a ZXR400 because the engines are bulletproof.
