Traffic Police Behind Me at 100

Hello all just got back from a ride around a25/dorking ish area to get moving in this heat. Anyway i was coming back home on the A40 flyover by the westway, and i was giving it some, my speedo doesent work but considering the revs/gears it was 90/100 ish. Truthfully i wasent paying much attention behind because i look ahead alot at those speeds . I see a traffic police car right up my arse... get right over quick thinking maybe hes on a call and i dident hear... he pulls up level and gives me a mad look... I raise my hand in a sorry gesture. and we both exit the off ramp.

He signals me to pull level, the first thing i say is "im sorry that was completely stupid". No excuses kinda stuff... he agrees, comments that i have the safety gear (body armor...) but that was not safe... i agree and he lets me go... now i dont know what the penalty is for 100 in a 40 (or 70), i have no idea the A40 flyover is usually as fast as you can go, as there are not many exits/turns... but that woulda prolly been a ban... and i would imagine he had it on video too... maybe he was busy or i was lucky... but whew
