CBR600RR VS ZX7R

So, i have the ZX7R, nice bike, fast, feels planted, it eats road with ease, doesnt seem to be eating to much wage.......but....i don't know if i should keep it.
I'm not really fussed by the scare stories because to be hoenst if you know fuck all about bikes you're going to be paying out anyway due to lack of self maintanence, and i know enough to keep it together.

I don't need 750 but the looks grabbed me, i don't like gixxer's and can't afford an exotic, i've had my eye on the CB600RR.

If i got the 600RR, would i be riding something that is just as fun, or is it flat as a pancake compared to me 7R?
I can imagine parts are everywhere and any garage can service it with their eyes closed.
I know it seems like a boring choice, but i ride everyday, all weather and need something that is going to become 'my bike'.

Id Much rather have a 600RR than a krapshitti,
Handles well, its fast its revvy, makes you feel like superman.

I have a RR, I ride with a mate on a ZX7R, and there's not much in it in a straight line!, handling and brakes the RR kills the kwak!.
However the ZX7R mullers the RR on mid range, you need to rev the gubbins out the RR and be in the rite gear all the time to be fast.
The RR's much more sporty, much harder.
Same as anything with sports bikes on the road its the rider more than bike, If i was you I'd stick with the ZX7R it will work out cheaper and they arn't that much slower in the turns!.

Stick with the 7R killa! Its a better road bike - softer for the bumpy stuff and better mid range power. Yeah the CBR looks the nuts though i agree but wouldn't sell my 7R for one.

I'd choose the CBR - it suits my riding a bit better and I'm a Honda man at heart. Only problem I see with them is they're as common as muck.

I would expect the 6RR will not only be a fair bit generally 'faster' bike, but will be more fun because it can handle corners better.

It is quite 'flat', but then I wouldn't describe a 7R as a screaming nutter bike by a long way either.

As I found out, it's neutral nature can be a bit /too/ confidence inspiring.

Personally, I'd go for the best of both worlds and get a 636.

I'd keep the 7R Killa, although i've not ridden a 600RR i can imagine it will be harder to ride on our countries bumpy back roads

i ride with a mate on a 600rr and i think the 7r is a "easyer" bike to ride, if he hasnt got his revs up he hasn't got a chance keeping with me but then from the off i think it's a faster bike, infact as much as i love my 7r i think its dated and all of the newer 600's are quicker.

I'd say have a go, i've considered changing mine for a 636(but i keep getting drawn to these psyco zx10r's)

I'm quite tempted with a ZX10 I must admit.

But, I'm also building a 950cc motor for a ZXR750 chassis, lightweight bodywork, lightweight everything infact!

So we'll see how that turns out first!!

If your really bothered about acceleration of the 7R against the 600's, just go down a tooth on the front sprocket, you dont 'need' a 170mph top end, and dropping just 1 tooth makes quite a difference! Oh, and for handling, raise the rear for a quicker (alot quicker) turn in, its just 1 bolt!
