new member, some pic's of my 636 red devil

new to this board but a regular on other forums

I've been into bikes as long as I can remember on and off road (sometimes both)
I bought my latest bike about two monthas ago but as I live mostly in Amsterdam
and the bike is in Scotland I've only had her out a few times so far but I'm well impressed
Its a Kawasaki Ninja 636 in red (the red devil)

my last bike was a Yamaha LC 350 that I rebuilt (and needs done again)
and I've had a few 500's etc through the years
so you can imagine the quantum leap jumping onto the ninja
but it didn't take me as long as I thought to get used to it
the bike is very easy to ride and handles like a dream

my "Other" bike at the moment is a 50cc scooter I use in amsterdam
but thats just to get around town and it does that job very well
and damn cheap to run

Its acctually funny the way it came about
I'd decided I wanted a new bike as my mates were getting 600 gixxers
but I've always liked Kawasaki's (my first bike was a Kawasaki KH250 triple)
so I looked at the ninja's and found the red one on a google search
fell in love and decided I wanted one

the next day I was talking to a friend online (he's into bikes to)
and I mentioned the red ninja I'd seen and fell in love with
he asked if I wanted one and I said you bet and he said give me £3000 and I'll sell you an 03

I said yeah yeah how long to get one and he said today if you want it
A bit surprised I asked how as they were rare
but he told me since I'd last seen him a few months back he'd sold his Bandit 1200
and bought the red devil but he liked it so much he wanted the 06
and would sell me the devil for the trade in price he'd been offered on it
I nearly bit his hand off there and then

so now she's mine and he has the green 06 so were both over the moon

yeah I plan on a new tyre and can soon
maybe when I get home next month, I live in amsterdam for a month then
back home for a week, lets hope the weathers better next time
got off the plane to rain when I got home this time only got a few days out
