Are there any aftermarket adjustable rearsets available for the old (1980's) CBR's? I keep decking out the footpegs on both sides and its wrecking my boots alternatively a jack up for the rear shock would be cool. ____________________ TL1000s, KDX200

People use files to make their boots like yours.
You could always slow down for corners ____________________ I want a big boys bike, preferably a Speed Triple. To date I have ?7:42p stashed away to put towards one. Need to get it in the bank & earning interest asap. |

You can get adjustable jack up plates from busters amoungst other places I believe.
Definitely a better way to go than rear sets I would have thought.
I would still definmitely reccomend trying to practice hanging off.
I didn't like the position I was riding in whjile racing on track, so took to hanging off in the 'proper'* way on the road, even on really slow corners.
Yes, I looked like a twat when I was hanging right off while doing 5mph in the company carpark. But it meant it was more instinctive when I was racing, so I had more fun doing that .
Definitely have to hang off on the beemer I've got at the moment - had the engine touch down a couple of times, despite the cacky tyres.
*Whole body hung off, not just arse sticking out leaving torso pointing back towards bike. |
