NSR 125R service

Ok, my bike is due a service now (actually 200 miles ago.lol) but i just do not have enough money for a full service. What are peoples opinions on full services, and delaying its service date. I am currently about 200 miles or more over its recommended Service, and it will probabely be another 500 or so before it actually gets one because i dont have the money at the moment.
What damage am i doing by doing this? what are other peoples views who also own an NSR on the matter? Cheers

except the first service (for your garantee) you can DIY all services and maintain your bike yourself . lube your chain at least once a week , check chain tension once a month , check your pads once a month , change gearbox oil every 3000 miles , change forks oil every 5000 miles or 2 years . clean air filter foam twice a year , carb every 2 years . watch time to time your sparkplug , clean & adjust gap (except irridium plugs) , change it if necessary .
the join doc will show what to do if you want to repect honda's schedule

isnt this for just a basic service? What does a full service look at?
or is this wat a full service is? becasuse i thought the full service would check the piston, etc?

they never check the piston , all the services related on this picture are basics and can be DIY . the things that you cannot DIY if you dont know mechanic are :
- de-carbonization (with piston or rings or barrel change)
- oil forks change
everything else is easy , even it's sometimes bowring

a part of oil is burn in the barrel & head and a more or less thick (depense on the time running) deposit occur , you loose performance on your bike with a temperature hotter . so honda recommand to clean this every 12000 kms (7500 miles) . as you must dismount your top-end , you replace as schedule :
- 7500 miles piston rings
- 15000 miles piston+rings
- 22500 miles top-end rebuild

yeh your right there is no way i could do that. But if i took it for a full service at the 7500 mark would they repleace the rings? or would i need to tell them?

yes , tell them you want de-carbonizing , rings change with small end bearing , piston pin and clips . rings+ spares named and seals+gasket is about £60 plus 2 Hours works
