Blue or white light bulbs are brighter than the old fashioned yellow ones. ____________________ Current : MSX 125 Past : CBR 900RR Monkeybike : c50 LAC : ZXR750 H2 : FZR600 : ZX7R P3 : YW100 : TRX850: Trophy 900 T309 : GSXR 600 L0: Monkeybike : XJ6S Whosthedaddy |

Allthough when its foggy or raining yellow bulbs are more efficient believe it or not.. (fog especially, in fact red works best, but for obvious reasons wont find them on the road..) *excieing eh..
There probably some of the 30% extra bright bulbs you'll see, phillips make some gooduns.. the real soloution is to fit higher rated bulbs, allthough not technicaly legal they will make a more noticeable improvment (if your lights run off relays tat will save you allot of effort ____________________ >RidingSkills<->Tech Tips<->MyBikes< |

I fitted a bosch ice blue halogen to my bike and it's bloody powerful. My headlight lets off a hell of a lot of steam when it's raining. If your bike uses halogen bulbs, they'll fit

H4 Osram Silver Star Bulbs at about £12/pair should do ya (assuming you have a pair and they take H4 size )
Had to flatten two small prongs on mine to make 'em fit the Thunderace, and was tipped off by the guys at the 'ace forum (cheers guys) about 'em, but going from 35 watt to 55/60 watt makes a fair old difference |

HID is the way to go.
Its a case of 'Let there be light, and there was light'!
Cost for the XX is about £200 for parts though ____________________ Where does a turn end? 'Where you can do anything with the gas you want to, where you are brave again, where your attention is free from the turn, where you are sure you can do it better next time; that's the end' - Keith Code. |
