Looks like you are going to have some fun there. Apart from the lime green colour (hey at least it's the right colour for a kawasaki ) the frame looks to be in pretty good condition - not to much rust at the welds etc.
Use lemon juice and vinegar on the engine casings. Removes that furr and fuzz in seconds!
For banjo bolts on brake lines, fasteners etc use a wire brush to remove any rust. Then apply and work in some graphited grease (castol call it moly grease) with a toothbrush and they will look like new.
For the paintwork a good wash then T-cut. Don't forget to apply polish afterwards though as T-cut strips any protection off.
The rest such as downpipes etc are just going to require elbow work - best book off a whole weekend |

Christ... A bacon Fryer...
Haven't seen one of them for YEARS.
Biggest problem I can remember is the piston rings on the middle cylinder. They have a habit of eating them.
Oh the memories. |

Thanks all and ta extreme for the cleaning advise. I'll try that method for sure.
Yep, had one when I was a kid briefly along with a Suzuki GT250. Both great bikes.
That one you posted up Pte is a KH B3, a few years younger (1980 I think) I have as far as I know two choices in colour on mine (KH B1) and thats candy sky blue or candy super red...I like both but maybe the red.
https://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l297/RitzBitz127/image_1505.jpg
If I can get it to look half as good as that I'll be happy
Bacon fryer is kewl ......never heard that one. The H2 750 triple I read was nicknamed "the widow maker" as it was as fast as fook but handled crap and had no breaks , not that I would kick one out of bed if one turned up. Now thats starting to sound freaky! ____________________ You watching this rubbish?

I really enjoyed taking my FZR apart and putting it back together again, the smile when it was off the stands and back on 2 wheels is amazing, as you said, the knowledge that you did it makes all the £'s and hours of effort worthwhile. ____________________ Current : MSX 125 Past : CBR 900RR Monkeybike : c50 LAC : ZXR750 H2 : FZR600 : ZX7R P3 : YW100 : TRX850: Trophy 900 T309 : GSXR 600 L0: Monkeybike : XJ6S Whosthedaddy |

Back from the powdercoaterers guys. Thank fook that green has gone!
https://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l297/RitzBitz127/KH250004copy.jpg
Been picking up a few bargain parts on ebay too although I can honestly say I got more chance of sprouting a fanny than getting a front mudguard
Engine is totally in bits because I had to swap the crank....
Still having fun though
I'm sure powdercoaterers aint a word ____________________ You watching this rubbish?
