I dropped the bike this morning, minor damage, the mirror & bar end scratched, the left fairing has suffered multiple small scratches. Crying or Very sad

It was an immaculate bike....

As it is black plastic, once i've got the white dust out and cleaned it up what can i do for a repair?

As to what can you use to fill in the scratches, try this guy. https://www.bike-paint.co.uk. Used him before and the matches are verygood. Once had to fix a mates green zx6r and the touch-up was bang on - kawasaki lime green is a tough colour to match Thumbs Up

The 7R's aren't that easy to pick up either, i certainly struggled when i dropped my old one.

Did you pass through the 'oh shit, no return' moment after which it the bike dropped to the floor in slow motion or was it totally unexpected?

Either way, time to get out the t-cut and wax... The scratches I had on my plastics are not too deep yet I was told the only way to 'repair' was to re-spray. Sad

Maybe see if you can get some matching paint made up and touch up the marks by hand then give them another good polish.

He's right, they don't. My Blade's not immaculate or showroom condition, just slightly above average. Hasn't seen rain in years though.

Dang, harsh luck, hopefully not too difficult to sort.
