My mate said he was planning on sticking a 500 engine in his RS250. I wouldn't really want to do that because they're becoming classic-ish bikes, and if i had one, i'd like to keep it as close to standard as possible. Like with an RVF - if you take out the RVF engine, it's not really 100% RVF anymore.
500 engines seem to be popular upgrades for RS250's though. ____________________ https://www.bikepics.com/members/nsrandy/96rs250/ My Bike!

Hi
The screw A is the mixture adjustment screw. The Honda manual describes it as the "Pilot Screw Opening" and is down as 2 & 1/8.
The other one just adjusts the idle speed. It does this by adjusting the position the carb slide stops at. Best way to do this is just to get the engine running and then use it to adjust the idle speed. Turn it clockwise and the idle speed goes up, anticlockwise and the idle speed goes down.
All the best
