 |
|
Hi all
I changed bikes recently from a 600 Hornet to a Kawasaki VN1600, safe to say there is a bit of a weight difference
I was out on saturday and came to a very dodgy bit of country road. I had stopped to make a right turn and lost my balance dropping the bike on its side
After a few seconds the engine cut out and I managed to get it back on its side stand. It took a few attempts to get the engine running again but everything seemed fine and I got home in one piece.
However When I started the bike today I could swear the engine sounds a bit different, kind of knocking sound. Now this could be my imagination as TBH ive never really listened to the engine carefully. What do you guys think? What damage can be caused when a bike falls on its side? |

being fair pal, i'd say it's just paranoia - and it's perfectly normal.
if the motor starts ok and revs ok, then chances are you're just fearing the worst - it happens all of us, don't worry about it. |
