How old is it? Its looks like its been stored for quite a bit, even though the tax is only few weeks out. Its not just the chain but the rust on the sprocket and spindle I can't get my head around. It makes it look like it was used through the winter then stuck in storage without being cleaned. Nice repair on the indicator though!

I've done that to a chain (well, maybe quite not as much sag, but nearly) in under seven hours.

Perfectly good chain and sprockets. Lubed and tensioned it. Left Cantebury the next day, rode the bike as fast as it would go to Edinburgh. When I got there the sprocket was so hooked and worn the chain was jumping and it was so stretched it was impossable to tension properly.

I had a mate with an NSR where the chain was in similar condition. He wouldnt be told that it would come off eventually. Then it did and smashed a hole in his crankcase cover. He gaffa taped it......
