£430..

can't be bad for a '95 GPZ.

once it's running, and tidied up, I reckon it'll be not a bad little deal.

Why do you buy some many bikes (old bangers), I barely have the time for one Exclamation Neutral

cos I usually sell them on for a small profit, after enjoying them for a few months...

I wouldn't call a 2003 FJR, a '99 Thunderace and a '97 Firestorm as a banger tho. I wouldn't think of a '99 Ducati Monster that way either, which I recently sold on for £300 more than I bought it for.

the FZR isn't the bets looking but it has a purpose..

the DR is a dirtbike, but isn't a banger. it runs well for a bikt of it's age.

the GPZ 'could' be considered a 'banger', but it's in great condition cosmetically for a bike of it's age, and with under 30k on the clock,. it's not a particulalry high mileage. I only got it as a bargain because it's been sat for some time without being used, so the carbs need stripped, cleaned and some new fuel put in. I'm also expecting the fork seals to have gone, the suspension linkage to need some work and maybe a new sprocket and chain.. after that, I am expecting to at least double my money.

Nothing wrong with older bikes/cars. Someone else has had the depreciation hit, parts are more readily availabe for IF they go wrong, and they are less to worry about when parking up in town or where ever.

All old???

if a bike that's not even due it's first MOT until November isn't 'new' then what is?

I also have a house and a car to look after, so I'm sorry if only one of my 7 bikes is not-quite-new

I'm not taking it personally, I'm genuinely intersted to know what you think of as "new" if a 2 1/2 year old bike is 'old' Smile
