Just for Bazza
I'm thinking of getting one of these as I cant afford to replace the cbr with a bike, and can get one of these old tanks for 250 quid in decent running order.
Anything to be aware of? Other thank they look crap obviously ____________________ TL1000s, KDX200 |

Not much to explain apart from it was slow as hell, and it uses bands underneath the car instead of drive shafts or pro shaft so it tend to sound a bit wind up plus the accelaration was dead, mind you in all fairness it was comfy when the road noise dies down a bit and it was a auto so i think that didnt help its cause,
no way on this earth would i ever ever own one again i just couldnt live with little old ladies over taking me all the time. ____________________ "Its Better To Burn Out Than Fade Away!!!!!!" "Lifes a bitch and then you Die"

Ahaa, was it the 1400 or the 1700? Going to check out this 1700 saloon thing, its manual so its mainly for convenience and the fact that its dirt cheap. Way I'm looking at it, is that any car I can buy for a couple hundred quid, is going to be horrid to drive and dog slow anything I can buy is going to feel pretty slow after the bikes anyways ____________________ TL1000s, KDX200 |

My Mum had one a couple of years ago and paid £150 for it. A 340 GLE 1.7 to be exact! I had the pleasure of borrowing it while my car was off the road.
It was an battleship grey F reg one with 200,000 miles on it and it drove quite well. They are built like tanks and don't handle very well but the 1.7 is suprisingly nippy and they are RWD so wet roundabouts are a good laugh!
Zero street cred but if you drive it like you stole it they are not so bad! And you could always pretend it is not yours! |

I got it £250, e reg, 2 owners (one of whom was a vicar I swear to god, his reverandship is on the history) 61000 miles full service history, spare brake disks, tax + mot
Terrible to drive, bouncy, weird clutch and gears, all the electrics work though, seats windows sunroof etc
Just awful to drive
There is one fault however, sometimes when coming off the motorway or A roads, coming to a stop it cuts out, but is easily restarted carb problem? Nothing major anywho ____________________ TL1000s, KDX200 |

Not sure about this 100 percent, but apparently on the 1400 an R5 GT Turbo head will fit straight on. ____________________ Northern Irish? www.nibikers.com |

The WORST car Volvo ever made.
Please avoid, plenty other reliable Jap and German cars on the market. ____________________ Call me Mr. Blobby |

Possibly, it was codeveloped with Renault, and uses Renault engines. ____________________ Current: CB500 Previous: CB100N, CB250RS, XJ900F, GT550, GPZ750R/1000RX, AJS M16, R100RT, Enfield Bullet
