What do you consider to be a bit of a mean drink, i.e. you take a swig and your eyes turn insideout and you sneeze your brain out of your nose..

At download i was passed some jagermeister, thought it was very mellow and nice, so decided to get some recently and its allot more viscious than i recall (perapps i was allready a bit drunk at the time)

Funny thing i can drink aftershock of any colour quite happly, in fact its very very nice, i'd not consider it to be one of the mean drinks.. same with absinth (even the real stuff) but this has a real burning gulletyness about it..

What was the last thing had you reaching for the phone to tell the hospital to get the stomach pump warmed up and have a new brain on standby?

(dont really drink often, been there done that, but every month or so i might have something, i'm not a secret alcoholic or anything, couldn't afford it anyhow)

Not recommended because its stupidly dangerous. A few sips too many and it will kill you. I have tried it and it is very mad.

*EDIT*

Decided i'm not going to tell you because I don't want to give anyone any stupid ideas. Sorry

Well Absinthe supposedly has the reputation for being one of the most potent, altho I've not tried it myself.

One other that sounds and looks gross is a drink called a "Babys Brain"..... Baileys and blackcurrant IIRC
Apparently when mixed together the blackcurrant reacts with the cream in the Baileys producing purple lumps of curdled(?) cream Sick

From personal experience though, I vaguely remember drinking Slivovic on holiday some years ago (apparently brewed from plums... a sort of plum schnapps).
Drinking it when sober feels like a cat clawing its way along the inside of your throat, and just a few drinks had me starting to sway as if I was on board ship Sick

its not plesant, but not too bad if you drink it properly, supposed to half mix it with cold water add sugar then set the lot on fire (it catches very easily),

it tastes like paint stripper smells, and made me feel a bit dizzy for a while, had to drink a lot more to get the taste out of my mouth Razz

well if you want a old drink that will make you feel a bit psycho after a couple get any beer you can (not larger) and add a Bass number 1 to it ,also known as barly wine, guaranteed to make you a nutter for most of the evening (more so if you step outside half way through the evening as you dont realise how much this hits you until fresh air is added to the mix

Authentic, farmer brewed Calvados. Not the namby pampy shite you can get in shops. Basically a apple brandy. Apple farmers around Normandy brew it with leftover apples. Local governments put limits on amounts that can be made as it is lethal.

Something around the 60% proof is common.

Loss of speach for a few minutes is all that is left of my memory of the stuff.

I can't remember what the reason was, but I was having a solo drinking session at home with the end result that I was very, very drunk. I vaguely remember a blurry haze, having to crawl up the stairs trying to get to my room Rolling Eyes

Some time later I open my eyes to see the ceiling spinning, and start to feel that horrible stirring in my stomach - I'm gonna puke!

Well my mental picture is of me trying to get from my room, down the stairs, thru the living room to the bathroom, in a drunken stupor, in my boxers.... with my hand over my mouth, but still puking between my fingers Sick Sick

The end result was that my father had to re-paper, re-paint and/or re-carpet the stairs, living room and bathroom because I'd managed to spray "recycled" Southern Comfort and orange everywhere.

Even the smell of the stuff turns my stomach to this day Thumbs Down Rolling Eyes

You're talking about Burbon there guys, 'tis a womans drink.

Try a large Talisker single malt. A somewhat challenging malt to the inexperienced whisky drinker.

Personally, flatliners have always blown my socks off. Float tequila on top of sambucha and add a generous dash of hot tobasco sauce.

Poteen has something of a hit to it too, as did the stuff people used to take to parties back home in Aberdeenshire that I know as 'clearic' which is obtained by sweating empty whisky casks.

Went out with the guys from work a while back and after a few we started on the flatliners, evil things they are made up of 1 jigger sambuca,1 shot tequila and Tabasco sauce. I've never been in such a fucked up state in my life took 3 days to recover, I've no idea how many we drank but I don't recomend drinking a few in a short space of time. Sick

On saturday at a party a guy had some Black Absinthe from his holidays (80 percent stuff, tasted like Covonia/liquerice). Two of the guys took a shot glass, poured straight from the bottle. Took the shot and washed it down with water. I called them pansys for having to wash it down, so obviously I was then asked to rise to the challange since I was so manly. I took my shot and reached for the water, when the mates said "nah, water is for pansys" for several minutes until they eventually gave it to me. I managed to keep it down for a few minutes then I was off to boke it up again. Laughing

Just in from having quite a few bevvies, for some strange reason I started with a double absinthe (£4) and moved onto double vodka and coke (£1.50) Rolling Eyes

Anyway, the absinthe was nice until it started stripping my mouth and throat of skin. It hurt, a lot, for about 5 minutes. My eyes were streaming.

Never drink absinthe straight! Shocked Crying or Very sad

You're not supposed to drink absinth straight. You're supposed to drink it mixed in a glass of water through sugar.

A mate of mine got really pissed one night and started doing "stuntman" tequila slammers. Snort the salt, down the shot then squirt the lime in your eye... Fool.

Absinthe, took a shot and it caught my throat so I coughed and a bit went up my nose. Couldn't breathe for a while and my nose was on fire all night.

Cheap albanian vodka, it tastes like paint thinners.

I would say spirits are just the easy way to get fucked, not really mean when you have them as shots though.
After shock must be the worst tasting therefore I find it not enjoyable and doesn’t get me ‘nicely’ drunk, it’s a shit teenagers drink.

I can’t remember the spelling but if you want to nuke your brain very quickly I suggest getting some of that Groshlager (the one with gold flakes in it) apparently it makes small lacerations in you throat so it goes straight into your blood stream. Down that and then down anything you want, vodka, absinthe, anything basically. Gets you ruined.

Oh, I tried this on holiday, I had a couple of shots and then I got through two cans before I started talking back to front.

When I used to work in a big studenty nightclub we used to walk along the back of the bar putting one shot of every spirit into a pint glass and then top it up with coke. Never drank a proper one myself though, tasted too bad.
