The design concept:-
The X9 Digital Dashboard was designed perfectly in electronics circuit:-Analogue-digital with rev counter, on-board computer and recommended maintenance indications. It is an OEM product from one of famous Italy company. Therefore, Piaggio Service Centre does not recommend repairing this OEM parts.

Looks like a car features with built-in single clip microcontroller storing mileage data in latest proven technology. It is the first deluxe scooter model from Piaggio with built-in digital dashboard and four analog gauges.
It includes three major functions: Control, Indication- Status and Metering-Gauges into two pieces.

How does it work - RPM gauge

Basic knowledge in RPM
The velocity of engine is shown in RPM.
RPM = Revolution Per Minute
1 minute = 60 seconds
1 revolution = 1 cycle
c/s = cycle per second

1800 rpm = 30 c/s
4500 rpm = 75 c/s
6000 rpm = 100 c/s
7500 rpm = 125 c/s
9000 rpm = 150 c/s
12000 rpm = 200c/s

The working range of X9 :-
The Idle RPM is in between 1500 to 1800. And the critical point is 9000 rpm (150 c/s ).

There is a pickup coil at engine block to detect the RPM, so called pulse coil.
If the pulse coil produces 150 pulses per second
and 150 pulse/second sends to the digital Dashboard,
then sends to Analog Meter , RPM gauge is pointing at 9 ( x 1000 rpm)

All the Mechanical components have their limitations.
Higher RPM will generate more heat and noise.
Highest RPM will push to the mechanical limit; it may be damage the engine block such as rod or cylinder cracked.

For example:
At home, imagine that the washing machine is running at 9000 rpm (150 cycles per second).
The bearing will generate a lot heat and noise due to the rotating force.

Protection System:
The power-cut will activate as the rpm is greater than 9000 . That is why the engine can produce the maximum power at 9000 rpm in order to prevent the mechanical breakdown.

The Long-tailed Weasel (Mustela frenata) is the most widely distributed mustelid in the New World. Its range extends from southern Canada through most of the United States to Mexico, Central America and the northern parts of South America. It is generally found in open or semi-open habitats near water.

From Enature.com: "Like other weasels, the Long-tailed was once thought to be strictly nocturnal, but in fact is often out by day, since voles, a primary food item, are mainly diurnal. The most widespread carnivore in the Western Hemisphere, it preys largely on mice and voles, while also taking rabbits, chipmunks, shrews, rats, birds, and poultry, and the occasional insect or earthworm. When hunting, it follows a zigzag pattern, moving from burrow to burrow. It does not suck blood, contrary to myth, although it will often lap it from a wound. Papio ursinus:
Baboons are the largest members of the monkey family, possessing heads with long, naked, dog-like muzzles. Some species have patches of bright red, blue or purple skin on their face, chest, or rump. Depending on the species, baboons weigh approximately 14 to 40 kg with females being about half the size of males.
Baboons live in well-organized troops, and the individual is only secure within his own troop. Large, dominant males rule the group and are responsible for keeping order between quarrelsome members and for protecting the group from predators. Their principal enemy is the leopard, but even leopards will avoid an encounter with the larger, adult males who are courageous and vicious adversaries.
