Bined the fireblade on a large rounderabout at 40mph today coming back from boxhill, police say l was,nt speeding but from were the rear set peg dug in the back wheel losted its grip on a patch of gravel.

Bike is completey fu*ked, as well as massive fairing damage the exhaust is destroyed and the swingarm and rear wheel is bent plus a snapped clip on and rear set, total right-off of a £5000+ bike.

Is the frame bent?

At a guess...
Exhaust <£60 for end can <£230 for full system
Rear wheel <£100
Rear set <£50
Clipon <£30
Swingarm <£60
Body work <£? - well, you don't actually /need/ body work to make it go Smile.

Ok, you'd have to keep an eye out on ebay and such like to get decent prices, but reckon you could sort it for not /too/ much.

Gutted for you mate.

Give it a night to sort yourself out and then re-asess the damage.

It might not be as bad as you think. I do have a right mirror from a 03 blade (ordered incorectly from ebay) of you want it, although that's probably way down your list at the moment.

VFr750 (i think) swingarms should go straight in, and give you a single sided rear end set up. I reckon you could get the entire back end for about £200 (caliper, swinger, hub, wheel)

Bad luck mate, it was gravel that got me, too Sad

At you're okay, well I assume you are. Bad luck on the bike though - it looked good in the pictures you posted.

He's well-off and can afford to be too lazy to sell it on ebay. Funny thing is I advised Tatters to get a 954 based soley upon knowing where there were some good parts available for next to nothing. If Tatters bike hadn't come already so well specced a lot of this guy's stuff would have already been on it.

Does he have a 954 front wheel, forks, calipers and yokes he wants to get rid of for silly cheap Laughing
