Id check that the oil pump is working correctly and the coolant is fine,
if it doesnt have an mot, also check the brakes suspension tyres chain sprokets, also just go through all the oils to make sure their good,
if thats all fine make sure theres enough 2 stroke oil in there and it should be fine. ____________________ Past: 55 Sym Jet, 91 ZZR250, 03 NSR125R. Present: 97 ER-5.

dont EVER go into the shop and tell them it's an NSR it's NOT! tell them it's an NS125R
they're completely different bikes and barely share a resemblance.
I had mine for about 5 years mate and i bloody miss it, it was absolutely bulletproof and had a lot of torque even though the NS's don;t have a powervalve system.
I got bored of mine so threw away the fairings and replaced them with Mito objects.
bare in mind this is an old photo. the Rear seat unit was fitted a lot better under the tank later on

Lol at the above pic, the bike leans more on the sidestand that it does in that pic, hang off a bit more and you'll get your elbow down too!
Bought a new NS125F many many moons ago, was a great bike apart from the horrible exhaust note, it got nicked after 2 weeks so bought an RD125LC with the ins money! ____________________ https://www.casa1011.com Quality accomodation in Spain, shameless plug

I did have a video of it but can;t find it, it's basically a twist cordless screwdriver with the forward/reverse buttons extended to my handlebars, and the drill mounted vertically with plate attached[/img] ____________________ Turbo R1

also, i have had a play with it today, it starts first kick, and sounds nice, front light works, but back light and indicators aren't wired back up yet, as we dis-mantled it for transport, plus the carb needs adjusting, how are the fairings for weaknesses?, plus are they expensive to replace, as it is an unfortunate eventuality local to me.unless you give more than you get which is not easy when there is 20+ in an average street 'crowd' who seem to think bikes are football-proof, and if it aint tied, bolted, anchored and alrmed down, it may very well be gone i a very short while if your not extremely careful so it is tricky but i am determined to have it for 2yrs+ for my test etc.. also how do you de-restrict them, i may consider it eventually! ____________________ Roger wrote: Women don't get damp for clingy puppies. well, i looked at it without fairings on, and with then decided i like it better with them on, now i just want to get a tank protector and maybe single seat converter, found on Ebay, so will keep eyes on it but for now, am focusing on MOT, i NEED it to pass! so i can play around on it... ____________________ Roger wrote: Women don't get damp for clingy puppies.
