the smell of 2 stroke is wonderfull and you will get the smell all the time, smoke is usual on a 2 stroke even when bike at full working temp you will get a little bit of smoke when you rev it, while its warming up you will get a fair amount of smoke, but its nothing 2 worry about. If its cold you will get oil condensing inside the exhaust which will be slowly burnt off. Enjoy the 2 stroke world, its great! ____________________ 2nd time around CBT: 8/9/11

It's not actually smoke Well some is, as a 2-stroke will naturally kick out some oil in the exhaust gases, but all bikes both 2 and 4 stroke kick out large amounts of water vapour until they are warmed up. So most of that smoke is nothing more than steam.
At this time of year the water (a natural byproduct of combustion) condenses as soon as it leaves the engine and touches the cold exhaust system. This produces large amounts of white vapour. Once the engine/exhaust system has warmed up the water stays as a hot gas (clear).
Cars will also be producing white vapour on cold winter mornings - a sure sign winters arrived! |

Ok im guessing that its going to be the same as the 125, so you need to unbolt the petrol tank.
theres one bolt near the steering yokes and two near you crotch type area after you removed the seat. pull the tank back and be careful of the hose that takes petrol to the engine (i havnt undone that yet but im guessing you gonna get soaked in petrol )
you should see a big plastic reservoir thing (bit like you 2t oil tank) under there somehere and thats where you put ya water. ____________________ I seem to have misplaced my pants................... |
