Alcohol REALLY isnt my friend...its taken me years and years to find any that I actually like to drink...and at last nights party I was cohersed into taking part in drinking Aftershock. Ive had the red one before and refused cos it reminds me of pernod which reminds me of an extremely horrendous experience I had when I was 15 ..never to be repeated!

So I partook in Aftershock Black... after about 15 minutes in my system, it picked me up, spun me around, and knocked me sideways...I could barely focus, and felt very sick indeed....(this was after a couple of brandy's)

I havent managed to persuade my stomache to eat anything yet. Though I know that marmite on toast IS the way to go...that and a large mug of tea

Working at the Student Union, all I serve is snakebite, Aftershock and Sambuca. Why these people drink it I have no idea. But Sourz are yummy.

Sourz are ok, but a lil bit weak IMO.
I used to love aftershock - Red and blue mixed.
I used to drink Sambuka all the time. One night me and a mate did half a big club bottle between us. Since then, Ive not touched a drop.

Think Sourz is 15% isn't it? As far as I'm concerned, anyone who spends money doing a 15% shot is a knobber.

Different people react differently to different drinks. I always found that Aftershock has quite an effect on me, whereas Jagermeister I can drink loads of and not get too drunk. I work in a Whetherspoons pub and we sell that Goldschlager stuff for £1.25 a pop. I'm not convinced that the gold flakes cutting up your throat thing is actually true, but even if it's a myth then it's still a bloody cheap shot.

To be honest, if you just want to get fucked then downing pints will do this far more effectively than dowing spirits, and will probably cost you a lot less as well.

Also is there a spirit called Cherry Vodka? Because me and my GF's cousin drunk a bottle of that Sat night, i didnt ask what it was, it smelt like Brandy, but it tasted bugger all like Brandy.

I always thought spirit shots got you drunk really quick, so the other night, seeing as I am a lightweight I saw they had a deal down Bargain Booze on these shite 20% shots called "Sidekicks" like £4 for 8 shots.

Thought I would at least get tipsy. Not in the slightest, was very pissed off.

yea i always seem to be sick before i go out now from downing too much drink, by hey im wasted so its all good

I pay about £2 in most student places, and £1.50 in some which is always nice
