 |
|
Hello all,
I've found that my head lights are just insufficient-they're crap mainly. Not bright enough, even with an illegal SuperXenon SupperBrilliance WillCostMoreThanNewBike bulb in there. Im wanting to add a pair of spots to my engine bars, finding a decent bracket will be a pain in the proverbial-which Im none to worried about (was thinking a set of forkleg headlight brackets-or similar, open to suggestions here).
I've had a look down my local halfrauds (3 of em) and they aint got anything that caught my eye, apart from some I've seen on ebay for a damned lot cheaper, which are here.
But, Ive also been considering theseand these.
I know I will have to relay the lights-otherwise it'd melt the loom (although I had no problems on my Maruader). But is there anything that I've left out? ____________________ Past: GZ 125 K4 Marauder, VL 125 LC Intruder, FZS 600 Fazer. Present: GSF 600 N K3 Bandit, GSX-R 600 X(soon)

those lights will do bog-all on a motorcycle.. they might be fine for pootling along at 15mph on a bicycle, but you need to see a helluva lot further when travelling at 4 - 5 times the speed.
I'm thinking about fitting HID lights to the FJR.. either as a replacement, or additional light.. not sure which way yet

HID lights are £££ you need a tranformer in all that jazz.
I looked at that then thought before lashing out half a months wages on HID I'd try those Piaf Lamps.
Honestly works fine for me and I regulary drive roon toon and country in the dark.
