I still need to attack my hair a bit more, I need mousse but havent got any, so making do with things like hand cream and talc to make it white & dry... but as it is, Im pleased with the results so far

Sickpup has bottled out on this evening Mr. Green so I am sticking with ladylike and girly attire.

Is anyone up to anything tonight? We don't tend to celebrate Halloween on the Isle of Man, it's called Hop Tu Naa instead (some sort of Celtic type thing, I think. I'm not Manx, so don't know the details). The kids still do the rounds, but tend to sing a song rather than trick or treat (although you've still got to give 'em some sweets or something).

Me? Planning on a swift pint down t'pub, then a saunter across the road for the local ghost walk. Peel Castle in the dark should be especially good... Mr. Green

The Yanks treat Halloween a little different to us. We dress up as vampires and the dead, they dress up as Little Beau Peep and Superman Eh?

Some kids knocked on our door as me and Dad were getting ready to go out. We ignored it, waited a while then I legged it out first...only to meet said mothers of children - eek! Muttered some lame excuse about just going out and sorry I ignored the doorbell, and scuttled off to my car....

Thumbs Up
Except at my Guide meeting we had a large group of teenage lads bang on all the walls outside and knock the windows (scaring the living daylights out of my little girly guides who aren't used to such confrontation). When they discovered the door was locked they took their frustrations out of a couple of windows.

Smash!

Glass everywhere. Lots of young girls, now all very scared.

Thanks guys, feel free to ruin our fancy dress halloween party and cause criminal damage to a community building maintained and run by volunteers just because it's Halloween.

I remember in 'Buffy....' (episode Fear, itself) Anya dressed in a rabbit costume for Halloween as she explained rabbits were the thing that frightened her the most.

The little kids in costume aren't bad as generally have mum/dad on the path watching over them. It's the teenagers with full face masks that demand sweets/money with menaces that I'm not keen on. So ended up answering the door in a devil costume Very Happy Guess I was a little horny last night Thumbs Up

Thumbs Up
