welcome, you can pick restrictors up from, you order them through your local dealer.
https://www.fiinternational.com/
they do most bikes, just out of curiosity what bhp does yours put out as standard?
or you could get the size of the plates and make your own or make a throttle stop and put it on a dyno, most will accept that.
on the other hand most companys dont ask for this as barbra on the end of the fone doesnt know it has to be restricted.

Cheers, aye I took out insurance and they didn't ask for it, but they've phoned me tonight just to make sure its restricted, which it is of course, , they don't want proof or anything, I just don't fancy getting banned or whatever for riding without correct insurance etc
cheers anyway.
Oh yeah, it puts out 53 BHP, how does a restrictor affect torque? as I don't mind the reduced top speed, but the pulling power reduction may annoy me |

Just been reading through it, whats this nonsense about having to get a registered place to fit it, IE. more money in their pocket . I know you get a certificate, but thats not a legal document anyway so what does it matter, as long as your vehical is restricted
Load of bollocks if you ask me |

Yeah I just edited as I realised what I was trying to explain was utter bollocks , I'm tired and just out of three hours of calculus .
Its a 1993 CB400 superfour . How can they prove you've got one though, can the police literally take your bike off you and test it or take it apart?
Funny thing is the bloke I bought it froms dad was a traffic cop in the local area and he didn' evan mention it lol. |

I know, not naming names, but a mate of mine has an A2 licence and in the past year and a half or so he's had, among others, a GSX-R600 and a ZXR750. I was thinking, I'll buy the kit and fit it if needed, which is at all times, of course |
