My jets are rounded of in my carb. Thus meaning it must be the problem to all my problems.

Only carbs on ebay are 34mm but i need 28

Does anyone know how much a garage would charge for a 28mm carb for my rs125?

Cheers marc

I'd suggest trying a breakers, there must be LOADS of crashed rs125's it will save you a world of hassle.. i doubt a carb would be the happy side of £100 or some other stupid bs price from new.

Hi

Surprised there are none on Ebay. Think they are not that expensive new (although last time I asked was ages ago, at the time £60 for a PHBH28 and £150 for a VHSB34).

Jets are cheap though compared to a new carb, and not sure what you mean by "rounded". Short of people shoving things through the middle of the jets they are not often damaged.

All the best

Keith

Hi

Possible. But normally a pretty coarse thread so not that easy to chew up.

All the best

No i mean , i was unscrewing them out , they are flat head and its rounded all the top off so i cant unscrew them out as there nothing for a screw driver to go in, if that makes sense.

So this means all the pieces from the head of the jets will be inside the jets.

I was thinking about buying new jets but then how could i get the old ones out without damaging my carb.

There 2 that are fooked are the ones really inside the carb

Hi

Suspect you cannot safely get them out. Small engineering shop (most towns seem to have one who does minor car and bike engineering work) could probably do it.

All the best

AFAIK aslong as you get a PHBH28 body you can swap the jets as needed. www.dellorto.co.uk

Hi

There are quite a few versions of the PHBH28 carb, so try and make sure you get the right one. Also the Mito has the oil pump on the opposite side, as does the NSR125 (and the NSR oil pump pipe connects somewhere wierd from memory).

All the best
